Generate IDs and fixtures

Pick the right identifier
Generate random RFC 4122 v4 UUIDs when you just need uniqueness, or reach for a ULID when you want IDs that sort by creation time. UUIDv4 is unordered, so it scatters writes across a database index, whereas a ULID is timestamp-prefixed and stays roughly sequential.
